Then distance and boarding
A day school close to home means more time as a family. Boarding offers structure and independence. Be honest about which your child will thrive in.
Visit in term time. An empty campus tells you very little.
Ask about the full cost
Fee structures differ a lot. Ask for the full annual cost in writing, including boarding, uniforms, trips and activities.
